Tonight I attended a free winter style workshop at Westfield St Lukes where they gifted us MOR products, and my friend won a two hour styling session and a $100 voucher! (She's a high school teacher, and at question time she asked Sara Tetro, of Next Top Model's fame, a really good question how she deals with young girls and self image in this age of social media.)
I had a quick wander in MAC afterwards, and these things caught my eye:
Temptalia didn't rate these very highly at all, but I do like the look of Olive Blend (upper right corner; swatches below).
There are two limited edition shades of the Pro Sculpting Creams -- Coffee Walnut, which is a gray tinged contour shade that supposedly works on most skintones (it looks kind of scary to this contouring novice), and Pure Sculpture, which one of the artists said would work nicely as a bronzer.
I'm intrigued by Coffee Walnut. I've been using a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow (Taupe) to contour occasionally, but these creams feel like they would be easier to blend.
Hadn't seen these in store before! I haven't done the maths on value compared to the full sized products, but at that price point they are a good way to try out some MAC skincare products without a huge initial outlay. The only thing I don't like about MAC's spray bottles is that they aren't refillable. I thought about picking up a mini Fix+ because my big one is almost out, but no: I stayed strong on my No-Buy.
